Words and Actions

Thanks for sharing this!

No need to worry that Words and Actions will collide in your lifetime. Social engineers have now accurately measured the distance between the two galaxies, and they’re billions of light years apart on the communication distance scale.

“It’s a relief to us,” says Cata Lyst, spokesperson for Motivational Speakers, an industry trade group. “Who knows what could happen if ever the twain met.”

Experts have the answer to that question—a collision between Words and Actions would be catastrophic. By itself, the galaxy of Words is filled with Hot Air, Hokum, and Nonsense. In contrast, the galaxy of Actions is filled with Energy and Consequences. The result is a matter of relational dynamics. If Words and Actions clash, the ensuing explosion will obliterate Words.

“It’s definitely a case of Actions speaking louder than Words,” says Never Inamillion, leader of the team that came up with the new measurements. “The good news is that Actions do not speak nearly as often.”
