Our internet travels wax and wane as various projects, deadlines, and opportunities vie for our attention. We have been in a waning stage here in Carpenter Country for the past few weeks. Even so, we managed a few outings!
We showed up on the Book Goodies site talking about our mystery, Murder by the Books. The fine folks at Book Goodies wanted to know what inspired the story, and how we came up with the characters.
THANKS FOR THE FEATURE, BOOK GOODIES!
While we were engaged in another “w” word—working—, we noticed the hummingbird in the garden, and were inspired to write a book bubble. Missing the Hummer is the result. We hope you enjoy the book bubble as well as the beauty of hummingbirds in your garden.
Then we traveled over to our Top Drawer Ink site, and were schooled by author Charles Frankhauser. Charles shared the story behind the story of his memoir, Miss Williams.
Hop on over to Top Drawer Ink and read about the fifth-grade events that set a new direction for Charles’s life, and why he thanks his teacher’s insight and empowerment for changing his future.
We were also delighted to feature author Cheryl Holloway in another post on Top Drawer Ink. She combined two passions and wrote a romance with a different literary landscape.
Read about her journey to Paris and Romance over at Top Drawer Ink.
As always, we are happy to share the “story behind the story” of your book on Top Drawer Ink! Click here for submission details.
