On Wednesday, we started the week in the middle of the week by visiting our friend Sloane Taylor and sharing our recipe for Corny Ham Chowder.

Sloane’s a great cook as well as a best-selling romance author, and we were honored that she chose to let us slurp…errr…SHARE soup with her blog readers.

Click on over and check out the recipe. Now that fall is here in North America we think you’ll enjoy eating…no, drinking…well, we’re not sure if soup is a meal people eat or one they drink. Sloane wasn’t sure either, but she was positive no one should ever slurp soup.

On Thursday we visited Cherie Burbach at Working Writers and Bloggers and explained our views on Walking in Your Character’s Shoes. We figure taking a hike is one way to work off the soup calories, whether we chose to eat, drink, or slurp Corny Ham Chowder.

Here’s the link to the Walking in your character’s shoes post on Cherie’s blog so you can decide whether you want to stroll along with us.

Top Drawer News — Quoting Thoreau   We've mentioned before that each chapter of our young adult novel, Walled In, begins with a quote from Walden, the simple-living classic written by Henry David Thoreau.
