Sometimes re-traveling familiar paths brings to light forgotten treasures. This month we re-visited our blog archives with Sally Cronin, who chose posts to share with her readers.

One of the posts she chose was Blog Hops and Movie Stars, a piece we wrote in 2014 while participating in a marketing challenge. So interesting to realize our outlook remains the same five years later.

2014 must have been a good year for us, because Sally also chose a second post from that year, Summer Weather Forecasting is for the Birds.

Our outlook on this topic also remains the same five years later. However, we were spot on with our prediction that our suggestion would only happen in Carpenter Country.

Thank you, Sally, for letting us participate in your “Posts from your archives” series.

All that jaunting into the past left us hungry, so we stopped by Catherine Castle’s blog to share our recipe for Crockpot Barbecue Chicken.

Thank you, Catherine for featuring our recipe on Tasty Tuesdays!

After lunch, we planted seeds. And of course, being writers, we wrote a book bubble to share the experience.

We finished off our June jaunts with a book bubble titled Secrets, inspired by a recent sighting of our friendly neighborhood owl. Or is she friendly?

Where did you travel in June?
