Top Drawer News — Bubble of the Week!

Thanks for sharing this!

We’ve said it before here and here — we really like Bublish!

In addition to the great name (a play on “publish”), the idea of creating a snapshot of a book, complete with author bio, website, buy links, and an excerpt, is a great concept and a beautiful platform to showcase books.

We’ve published bubbles for our young adult novel, The SkyHorse, our short story, The Demise of Fyne Literature, and–just last Friday–our new-adult novella, Jack and The Fountain of Youth.

We’re delighted that Bublish featured Jack and The Fountain of Youth as Bubble of the Week!

Who would have imagined? Well…as we say in the author insight, it’s all about imagination:

Author Insight

According to Mark Twain, you can’t depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.

Part of the fun of books for both the reader and the writer is falling into the story and becoming one with the hero. Your eyes see the words and your mind imagines the scene, and you are there, on a quest, tromping through the tangled wood, invested in emerging on the final page, triumphant and sweaty, a different person than you were when you started the journey.

We hope you immerse yourself in that journey at every opportunity.
