We’re participating in the Children’s Book Week Giveaway Hop 2014, and we want YOU to know so you can win some great prizes.

What’s it all about? Over one hundred blogs are participating in this celebration of Children’s Book Week. Each blog is offering a prize of some sort, such as a free book or a gift card. The event is called a blog “hop” because all the participating blogs are listed on each individual blog, and you hop from blog to blog by clicking the links. You can enter to win a different prize at each blog.

What do you have to do? Come back to our site on Monday, May 12, read the post we’ll have uploaded, add a comment, and sign up for the prize we’re offering, which is one free e-copy of our novel, The SkyHorse. Then  click on the links we’ll provide in the post, visit the other participating blogs and follow the same procedure. Each blog will offer its own prize, and all the giveaways end Sunday, May 18.

Want a sneak peek at the participants? Here’s the list.

Top Drawer News — Quoting Thoreau   We've mentioned before that each chapter of our young adult novel, Walled In, begins with a quote from Walden, the simple-living classic written by Henry David Thoreau.
