“Holy smoke!” Mr. Sterling whipped a pair of reading glasses from his pocket and shot forward. “This medalla is an extremely rare sixteenth century Spanish artifact. Mind if I take a closer look?” Without waiting for her answer, he scooped the pendant from Nessa’s palm as Jack’s phone signaled an incoming text.

Jack glanced at the display.  “Maybe I don’t know everything about the Fountain.”

Nessa said, “What do you mean?”

He turned the screen so she could read the message.

Checked legends. No danger from reversing spell. Should be enough in the jar for sponge baths. Will bring two sponges. Tia Bella
