Below is the text version of the audio.
(Show notes are beneath the text.)
“No.” Jack grabbed her shoulders. “I am not.”
“Oh, yes, you are. Didn’t you know, Ms. Owens?” Mr. Liaberco tilted his head. “Then again, why should you? Even Colby Newman doesn’t know. That idiot thinks Jack is working for him, instead of the other way around.”
“You have your facts wrong,” Jack said.
“Nice try. But I’ve done my research on you. I happen to know you and your aunt are the major shareholders of Conquistador Charter.”
“What’s that?” Nessa asked.
We’re new to the Audacity, the sound program we use for our audio recordings, and to sound effects in general. These are our thoughts on the current episode.
Recording. We recorded this segment in one take, after two practice runs with the microphone off.
Technical. This week, we accidentally recorded the wrong installment number in the leading and closing clip. Instead of re-recording the entire audio, we made a new opening and closing, adjusted them using the standard effects, and pasted them into the incorrect clip. Love Audacity!
Comments. The weather is cold in Carpenter Country this week. Even though the house is warm, our shoulder muscles were tense while recording. We notice the difference in the final version.
Story changes. Minor changes to the written version this week. The sentence structure and words worked well in the switch from text to audio.
