She smiled. “I thought you’d want it, as a reminder of your sister.”
She’d been thinking of him.
With the same abrupt shift that had twisted fear into temper, temper gave way to a love so powerful he thought he might suffocate from it, a love he had only before ever felt for Maria and Tia Bella. This was the same, yet different too. Wonderfully different. He marveled that the ground beneath them didn’t tremble with the force of it.
We’re new to the Audacity, the sound program we use for our audio recordings, and to sound effects in general. These are our thoughts on the current episode.
Recording. We recorded this segment in one take, after two practice runs with the microphone off.
Technical. As we’ve done more editing, we’ve learned how to enlarge problem areas and clip out the bad sounds. We usually do this when we’ve accidentally left an unnecessary gap between words.
Comments. Curious how certain words are difficult to enunciate when spoken one after the other. Listen to the space between “only” and “before.”
Story changes. No changes to the written version this week. The sentence structure and words worked well in the switch from text to audio.
